Cash in on free films and financial advice

Residents in West Lothian are being invited to watch two films free of charge while learning more about how to look after their money.

A special film showcase is taking place at the Regal Community Theatre in Bathgate, from 2pm on November 23.

The event will play host to screenings of The Pursuit of Happyness, starring Will Smith, along with a remake of Mr Deeds.

Between watching films residents can find out how to make their cash go a bit further by visiting a money information stalls and picking up freebies.

The film screening and information day is part of Better Off: West Lothian Money Week, which will see more than 50 free events and activities taking place to get people thinking and talking about how they might save cash.
