Cash prize for science stars

A CASH prize of £45,000 is up for grabs amongst the Capital’s scientists and students.

The hunt is on across the city’s universities and research institutes to uncover Scotland’s most pioneering technology entrepreneur.

Now in its third year, The Converge Challenge is an annual competition which commercialises science and technology from Scotland’s universities and research institutes.

Organiser Olga Kozlova said: “I am truly excited what we might uncover this year.”
