Centre choice lifts spirits

A WEST Lothian shopping centre has announced RiverKids as its nominated charity of the year 2012.

Staff at The Centre in Livingston said they were delighted to welcome the charity following a two-year collaboration with Bosom Buds of Scotland.

Wendy Simpson, founder of the charity and philanthropist, said: “This year has been a real struggle for RiverKids. Our premises in Uphall were broken into and hundreds of pounds worth of toys were stolen. This news has lifted spirits throughout the organisation.”
