Charities are quids in with bankers’ hike

CITY bankers have raised £45,000 for charity after taking part in the Great Highland Hike for Local Communities.

More than 30 charities will share the money raised by 200 members of Royal Bank of Scotland staff in Edinburgh.

The hike, which took place in June, involved walking 23 miles in less than 12 hours across the West Highlands.
