A 13-year-old girl has been rushed to hospital after she was hit by a car outside a West Lothian high school this afternoon.
Emergency services were called to the incident outside Armadale Academy at 3:34pm, with police having closed off the road outside the school.

A Scottish Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “We dispatched one critical care paramedic and an ambulance to the scene.
“We transported one patient to the Royal Sick Kids Hospital in Edinburgh.”
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Emergency services attended and the pedestrian, a 13-year-old girl, was taken to hospital for treatment.
