Chris Hoy denies X Factor chat

OLYMPIC hero Sir Chris Hoy has denied rumours he will be swapping the velodrome for the dancefloor.

The six-time gold medal-winning cyclist set the record straight over speculation he was to line up on the X Factor and Strictly Come Dancing.

He tweeted: “Some amusing stories about me being a mentor on X Factor; that’s the first I’ve heard about it! ”

He then added: “And no I’m not doing Strictly either!!”
