A WEST Lothian man who was caught in a police raid on a cocaine “cutting shop” has been jailed for four years.

Officers found Paul Mc- Sherry, 32, lying on a bed in the house in Lesmahagow, in Lanarkshire, while others tried to escape through a back door.

Unemployed McSherry, of Burnvale, Livingston, earlier admitted being concerned in the supply of the drug on October 28 last year at a house in Church Square, in Lesmahagow.

Judge Lord Turnbull yesterday told him at the High Court in Edinburgh he would have faced a five-year sentence for the drugs offence but for his guilty plea.
