Community council suspended

THE future of Southside Community Council is uncertain after the chair, vice-chair and secretary resigned.

These and other resignations mean the organisation has now effectively been suspended as a decision-making body until after an interim election.

It is understood there have been disagreements between members, with advice sought over expulsions and suspensions.

Nominations for the vacant posts will be taken from October 31.
