Missing 27-year-old man last seen in Craigmillar area of Edinburgh is traced

Police say a missing man last seen in the Craigmillar area of Edinburgh has been traced.

Jamie Sharp-Hunter, 27, was reported missing from Bankfoot, Perth and Kinross, on Friday July 10. Police enquiries established that he was in the Craigmillar area of Edinburgh around 9pm on Tuesday.

The police said they were keen to trace him as soon as possible and asked anyone who may have seen him to contact them.

They later issued a statement saying: “We can confirm that Jamie Sharp-Hunter, who was reported missing from Bankfoot, has been traced.

“Thank you to everyone who shared our earlier appeal.”
