Crews attend seizure victim

A YOUNG woman was given emergency treatment in the city centre this morning after suffering what appeared to be a seizure in the middle of Queen Street.

Emergency crews rushed to attend the scene after receiving an emergency call at around 6am from concerned passers-by. Traffic delays were experienced close to the scene after the arrival of ambulance staff and police, with several emergency service vehicles providing treatment.

One witness said the woman appeared “distressed”. Her condition is unknown.
