'About 200 cars' stopped for speeding on Edinburgh streets by police

Police in Edinburgh have said they stopped around 200 cars during speed checks this week.
Officers posting on Twitter said they were carrying out speed checks for #SlowDownForLockdown on four Edinburgh roads.

Hide AdPolice said they were doing the checks at Grange Road, Bruntsfield Place, Hermitage Drive and Comiston Road following “local community concerns”.
The said they stopped “about 200 cars”, with three drivers reported for speeding offences.
