Anonymous 'art critic' grades Edinburgh graffiti and gives 'student feedback'

An anonymous reviewer has left a note next to a graffiti artist’s tag saying the work is “lacking in originality and execution.”

The mystery critic has marked the tag, spotted on a communal bin in Leith, with a grade C saying there is “room for improvement.”

The note adds further “student feedback” to the artist’s work.

Graffiti has been a long-standing problem in the Capital, but this reviewer is showing a novel way of tackling the issue in the city by giving hand-written criticism.

One of Edinburgh's most historic closes and courtyards Milnes Court was recently destroyed by vandals.

It has been a regular target for graffiti artists.

Earlier this year neo-Nazi stickers appeared around the city centre causing outrage.

The racist slogans, reportedly from a network of white supremacists were plastered around the Royal Mile.
