Appeal after £9k worth of clubs stolen from West Lothian golf store

Police in West Lothian are appealing for witnesses following a break-in to a golf store in Uphall.

The incident happened around 11.40pm on Friday, 20 July at the American Golf store at the Houston Golf Range.

After entry was forced to the premises, around £9,000 worth of Callaway and Taylor Made golf clubs were stolen from the store.

Inquiries are ongoing to identify those responsible and anyone with information is asked to come forward.

Constable Gillian Minshull from Livingston Police Station said: “As part of this investigation, we are keen to speak to anyone who may have seen any suspicious people or activity in the area of American Golf and on the A89 roadway at Uphall during Friday evening.

“We are particularly keen to speak to anyone who may have CCTV or Dashcam footage capturing any potential suspects or vehicles in the area at the time of the incident.

“In addition, if members of the public are approached by anyone looking to sell-on brand new Callaway or Taylor Made golf clubs without any documentation of ownership, then please also contact police immediately.”
