Armadale assault: Man rushed to Edinburgh Royal Infirmary after assault in West Lothian

A man has been rushed to hospital after being assaulted in Armadale on Sunday afternoon (May 16).

Police attended the scene on Barbauchlaw Avenue at around 3.20pm,

The injured man was taken by ambulance to the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “We were made aware of a disturbance at Barbauchlaw Avenue in Armadale around 3.20pm on Sunday, 16 May.

“A 30-year-old man has been taken to the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh for treatment to injuries sustained during the incident.”

Enquiries are ongoing.
