Several armed police officers were spotted attending an incident at a block of flats in Muirhouse last night.
A 28-year-old man and an 18-year-old woman were arrested by cops following reports of a disturbance.
Photos shared on the Trim and Friends of West Pilton Facebook group show firearm units deployed near Inchmickery Court in the north of the city on Sunday afternoon.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 5.15pm on Sunday, 12 April, we received reports of a disturbance on Muirhouse Grove, Edinburgh.
“A 28-year-old man and an 18-year-old woman have been arrested in connection with the incident.”
