Buses diverted amidst reports of heavy police presence near The Pleasance

Buses have been diverted near the Pleasance area of Edinburgh as West Richmond Street closes.

Two men taken to hospital after reports of a 'disturbance' near The Pleasance

The diversions are thought to be due to an on-going incident in the area.

It has been reported that at least two ambulances are on the scene along with several police vehicles.
