Concerns grow for missing 15-year-old Edinburgh girl who was last seen in city centre

She was last seen around 7pm on Wednesday evening

Police in Edinburgh are appealing for assistance in tracing a 15-year-old girl who has been reported missing from the Waverley area of the city centre.

Kasey Rowan was last seen at 7:05pm on Wednesday 11 December on Market Street in the Capital.

Currently, her whereabouts are unknown and police are increasingly concerned for her.

Kasey was last seen around Market Street

She is described as 5ft4in tall with a slim build and pale complexion. Kasey has blonde mid-length hair and scars on her neck.

She speaks with a broad Newcastle accent and was last seen wearing a black North Face jacket over a dark grey zipped-up jumper, dark grey joggers and grey Nike trainers.

Inspector Mailer from Howdenhall Police station says "Kasey has been missing for a number of hours now and we are understandably worried about her. We have a number of police resources out looking for Kasey and I am now looking for the assistance from the public. "
