Concerns raised for missing 85-year-old man from East Lothian

An appeal has been launched in efforts to trace a missing elderly man in East Lothian.

Concerns are growing for John Paxton who was last seen at Mill Wynd, Haddington, at around 4.50pm on Sunday.

The 85-year-old has lived in Haddington for most of his life and has previous links to the Lydgait and Lynne Lea areas.

His late wife is buried at St Martin’s Church.

Police have issued an appeal in efforts to trace Mr Paxton.

John Paxton is also known as Ian and is described as 5ft7, slim, short grey hair. Possibly wearing long sleeved grey top and dark coloured trousers.

Anyone who may have seen John Paxton, or who has any information on his whereabouts, is urged to contact Police Scotland via 101 quoting incident number 2822 25/10/2020.
