Police have charged nine people after two days of vandalism at a Lothians adventure park.
Officers say eight 15-year-olds and a 16-year-old youth have been identified, traced and charged with causing damage to Conifox Adventure Park in Kirkliston on Tuesday, February 16, and Wednesday February 17.
The amount of damage caused is understood to be worth thousands of pounds, sparking a police investigation and social media posts by the owner, who appealed for information.
A marquee and toilet block were reportedly damaged, with some chandeliers broken and some food items thrown around, while some Christmas props and a PA system was damaged.
The owner of the park previously praised the families of those who came forward after the incidents, and he also thanked the public for all their support.
Since the damage was revealed on social media, James Gammell said he had been overwhelmed by the “outstanding” support he received.
