Cowgate incident: Man, 25, dies suddenly at property in Edinburgh's Old Town

Mystery surrounds the death of a man who died suddenly at a property in Edinburgh’s centre.

Officers were called to a building in Cowgate at about 2.15pm on 3 May following the sudden death of a 25-year-old man.

A police spokesman said: "Officers attended premises at Cowgate in Edinburgh around 2.15pm on Monday, 3 May following the sudden death of a 25-year-old man.

"The death is being treated as unexplained but non-suspicious. A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal in due course."
