Cruel thieves steal two cute tiny pups from Prestonpans woman
Debbie Smith discovered her German Shepherd/Belgian Shepherd-cross pups had been snatched when she returned to her home on Monday.
The mum-of-one posted a heart-breaking message on social media following the callous theft of the two vulnerable dogs from her home in Prestonpans, East Lothian.

Hide AdDebbie, 31, broke the news of the theft on social media, posting: “Only pic I have - someone has been in my house and my neighbours house and they have taken two of my female pups.
“Police have been called. This was between 1.45pm and 5.10pm - any help would he appreciated.”
She later posted: “I actually do not feel safe in my own house.”
Following Monday’s theft Debbie called in police who have launched a manhunt for the “despicable” thief who struck between 1.45pm and 5.10pm.

Hide AdA Police Scotland spokesperson said: “About 5.50pm tonight, Monday, 12 October, 2020, officers received the report of the theft of two German Shepherd/Belgium Shepherd cross pups from a house in Prestonpans.
“Enquiries into the matter are ongoing.”
Debbie, a nursing home care assistant added : “I’ve never been so scared in all my life. I cannot believe someone has come in my house. Imagine me [and my son] was here.”
Locals in the town have also slammed the callous thief after Debbie posted details of the incident on social media.
David Scott wrote: “How could someone do that? Really despicable to steal two young dogs like that. Hope the police get them.”
