Dalry Cemetery incident: Police appeal for witnesses after man seen 'acting suspiciously' follows woman walking dog

A woman called the police after she realised a man was following her while she was walking her dog in the Dalry area of Edinburgh.

The 22-year-old was walking her dog close to the Dalry Cemetery between 4.30pm and 6pm on Sunday, March, 21, when she became aware of a man following her.

Concerned for her safety, she approached another woman in the cemetery and started speaking to her.

Following this the man left the area and walked in the direction of Dundee Street.

He is described as a slim built white man who is roughly 5ft 8in in height.

He has a tattoo of letters under his left eye and was dressed in all black, with his hood up.

Police are now trying to establish whether there was any cause to be concerned, anyone who may have seen the individual in the area is being asked to come forward with information.
