On Wednesday, September 30, a 30-year-old victim was walking along the footpath on the south side of Riverside Court at around 5:45pm, when she was attacked from behind by a man.
Following a description given by the victim, detectives said they are hunting a white man in his late 20s, around 5’9” tall with a slim build.

Renewing their appeal for information from the public this afternoon, detectives revealed they have identified the “distinctive” brand of body warmer the attacker wore during the assault.
Det Insp Craig Higgins said: "We believe the body warmer the suspect was wearing at the time of the attack was a Moncler and hope that its distinctive black, shiny style may jog people's memories when they were out in Livingston last Wednesday.
“Did you see a man in the area wearing a Moncler body warmer before or after the time of the attack? If so, we want to hear from you as soon as possible.

“However, we're continuing to appeal to anyone who was in the area who may have seen something which could be significant to us.”
At 5pm today, precisely one week on from the assault, detectives and local uniformed officers will be revisiting the scene of the attack, Det Insp Higgins revealed.
He said officers hope to speak to walkers and drivers who regularly visit the area to try and “encourage any new information”.
