A man has been arrested in connection with the recovery of over £1,500 worth of drugs in Dunbar.

Police raided two separate addresses in Lammermuir Crescent in the seaside town under misuse of drugs act warrants.

Local officers and the Community Action Team (ELCAT) were involved and both addresses were visited at the same time.

More than £1,500 worth of cocaine and other drugs were recovered and a 33-year-old man will be reported to the procurator fiscal.

The raid was part of Operation Juneau which aims to tackle drug dealing in East Lothian communities.

A statement from Police Scotland said: “We will not tolerate any form of drug dealing and will always act on intelligence received.
