A driver in East Lothian has been charged after allegedly driving a vehicle that had been issued with a prohibition notice.

Officers says the driver also had an outstanding shoplifting offence.

A police statement confirmed: “On the afternoon of Monday 15th February, officers observed a vehicle in Tranent being driven that had previously been issued with a prohibition notice.
