East Lothian police search ‘urgently’ for missing woman

Police in East Lothian have appealed “urgently” for the public’s help to find a missing woman.

Karen Edwards was last seen at Thurston Manor Caravan Park at 6pm yesterday evening.

Officers said the 51-year-old is 5’6” tall, with a heavy build and shoulder-length blonde hair.

She was last seen wearing a blue waterproof jacket, white trainers, and plum-coloured leggings.

Police asked anyone with information to contact 101 quoting incident number 0516 of 27/08/20.

Police Scotland has Missing Person Coordinators (MPCs) in every local division in the country.

MPCs support and oversee all missing person investigations.
