A man, 31, has been arrested and charged in connection with a fire raising incident at a property in Leith.

Firefighters were called to the deliberately set fire at a property on Pilrig Street in the early hours of Sunday, July 10.

The blaze was extinguished by a Scottish Fire and Rescue Service (SFRS) crew and no one was injured.

Police have arrested and charged a 31-year-old man, who is due to appear at Edinburgh Sheriff Court today (18 July).
