Edinburgh drunk-driver stopped on M90 found to be more than six times over the limit

A driver stopped near Kirkliston on the M90 was found to be more than six times over the limit.

The vehicle owner failed a roadside breath test after being flagged down by police on Friday, 23 October.

It has been confirmed the driver will attend court on Monday.

A police spokesman said: “We received a report of a drink driver earlier this evening. The vehicle was traced on the M90 near Kirkliston and the driver failed the roadside breath test.

"The driver later provided reading of 148ug (limit is 22ug) at the station and will be held for court on Monday.”
