Edinburgh police appeal after ‘hit and run’

Officers have asked any witnesses to the incident to come forward.

Police in Edinburgh have appealed for information after a suspected hit and run on the M9 near Newbridge on Monday morning.

Officers said a car, a van, and two lorries were involved in the crash at around 10:15am on September 14.

“If you saw the incident or have dashcam footage, please contact us on 101 and quote incident number 0946 14/09/2020,” police asked the public on Facebook.

Details of injuries and damage caused during the incident are not yet confirmed, but a police source said one person may have been injured.
