Police in Edinburgh are appealing for witnesses after an assault near Arthur’s Seat left a 53-year-old woman and a 53-year-old man injured.

The assault occurred at around 7.10pm on Saturday, April 25 within the park.

The suspects are described as all white and aged in their mid 20’s with the first said to be a slim built man, around 5ft 9ins tall with short black hair and wearing a black hoodie and jeans.

The second is described as a stocky man with light ginger hair and wearing a grey t-shirt with multi-coloured lettering and a hoodie over the top, combat shorts and had with him a light grey husky dog with blue eyes.

The third is a slim built man around 5ft 8ins tall with an English accent, a goatee beard and dark wavy hair, wearing dark trousers and a bright blue t-shirt.

He was on a bike which had a turquoise food delivery bag on the back of it.

The fourth is a slim built woman around 5ft 4ins tall with mid length light brown hair just past her shoulders, wearing an oversized sweatshirt and black trousers.

She too was on a bike and was wearing a nose ring.

Anyone who was in the area at the time and witnessed the incident or can identify the suspects should contact Police Scotland on 101 quoting incident number 3900 of April 25, 2020 or should call anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
