Edinburgh police search for missing 24-year-old

Police in Edinburgh are “growing increasingly concerned” for the welfare of a missing man, last seen in the city in the early hours of Sunday morning.

Officers have now appealed to the public to help to find Arkadiusz Blicharz, who is known to have been in the Gorgie and Dalry areas of the Capital before he when he was last seen at 3am.

The 24-year old is a white man. 5’10” tall, with a medium build, wavy brown hair and wears glasses.

Arkadiusz’s family said it is unusual for him not to keep in touch with them and his friends.

When he was last seen, he was wearing black baseball jacket, black t-shirt, black jogging bottoms and black Nike shoes.

Inspector Keith Forrester, Wester Hailes Police Station said, “We are growing increasingly concerned for Arkadiusz’s welfare as it is unusual for him not to keep in touch with his friends or family.

“We are therefore keen to trace him as soon as possible. If anyone has information that can assist police, please call 101, quoting incident 857 of 06/10/2020, thank you.”
