Edinburgh teen charged after months-long investigation into Meadows incident

A teenager has been charged in connection with an incident in the Meadows in April.

Police Scotland confirmed on Tuesday that a 16-year-old boy would be the subject of a report to the Procurator Fiscal after a disturbance in the city centre parkland at around 7pm on Saturday, April 3.

The announcement follows a CCTV appeal launched last week by officers investigating the incident.

Speak at the time of the appeal, Constable Siobhan Mannion said that no-one was seriously injured in the incident.
