Edinburgh woman in hospital after being struck by a motorbike on Pier Place
A woman is being treated for leg injuries in hospital after being struck by a motorbike in Edinburgh.
Her condition has been described as stable.
The 56-year-old was crossing the road in Pier Place in Newhaven when she was hit by a Triumph motorbike that was being driven by a 61-year-old man.
The man was also taken to hospital where he was treated for a leg injury and was released after treatment.
The incident occurred on Tuesday, September 8 at around 2.30 pm.
Officers at Edinburgh Road Policing Unit are appealing for any witnesses to the crash to come forward.
They would also like to hear from anyone who has dash-cam footage.
