Fife man in ‘serious’ condition after Kennoway balcony fall

A 41-year-old man is in “serious condition” in a Dundee hospital after falling from a balcony at a block of flats in Kennoway, Fife on Tuesday.

Emergency services were called to the scene on Leven Road at around 9pm on Tuesday, November 24.

Paramedics took the man, who has not been named, to Ninewells Hospital in Dundee for treatment.

Hospital staff describe his condition as “serious”, and Police Scotland are still trying to uncover the circumstances that led to the fall.

A spokesperson for the force said: “Around 9pm on Tuesday, 24 November, a 41-year-old man fell from a balcony of a flat in Leven Road, Kennoway.

“He was taken to Ninewells Hospital, Dundee, by the Scottish Ambulance Service where he is currently being treated for serious injuries.

“Hospital staff describe his condition as serious. Police enquiries continue to establish the full circumstances of the incident.”

Traffic access to Leven Road was temporarily blocked off by the incident.
