Gosford Place incident: Man arrested following police pursuit in Ferry Road

A man has been arrested for road traffic offences after a car failed to stop for police in an Edinburgh road.

Officers pursued a car in Ferry Road after the driver refused to stop at a police signal at about 1pm on Monday, 26 April.

A 48-year-old man has since been arrested in connection with the incident.

A police spokesman said: "Around 1pm on Monday, 26 April, a white Dacia Sandero failed to stop in Ferry Road, Edinburgh. A police pursuit ensued and a short time later the vehicle was brought to a controlled stop on Gosford Place.
