Haddington body '˜not wearing shoes'

A MAN found dead near Haddington Golf Club was not wearing any shoes and had his top pulled up over his head, the News understands.

The body was found near to the waste water treatment plant beside the town’s golf course at about 6am yesterday (Monday).

Officers are treating the death as “unexplained” with a post mortem due to be carried out later today.
