Hibs ban more fans after cup final trouble

HIBS have banned more fans after the pitch invasion following the Scottish Cup final.

Some supporters have been ordered to stay away for life, while others have been slapped with an indefinite ban.

Hibs said the fans had committed various offences, including violence towards other supporters.

The club’s chief executive Leeann Dempster said: “We will continue to co-operate fully with Police Scotland and the football authorities, but in addition we are carrying out our own review into what happened and we will take the action we think appropriate to protect the club’s good name.”
