The building, in Saughton Park’s Winter Garden, was pictured with smashed out windows and glass on the floor surrounding it on Saturday morning.

A picture was taken of the building by resident Thomas Mccourt who has since reported the damage to police.

He said vandalism in the area is “becoming a nightmare.”

This is the second time the building has been damaged this month.

Residents found multiple windows of the glass house smashed on December 7 and insisted the area is fitted with appropriate CCTV to make sure those responsible for the act are caught.

At the time, Edinburgh City Council said it reported the damage to police and an investigation was launched.

Police Scotland has been contacted for an update on both incidents.
