Hydraulic muncher and grabber stolen from building site in East Lothian over Christmas period

Police in East Lothian are appealing for information after hydraulic equipment was stolen from a building site.

The hydraulic muncher and hydraulic grabber were taken from a site close to Drem railway station, between December 20, 2019 and January 15, 2020.

Police are asking anyone who saw suspicious activity in the area over the festive period to come forward.

A statement on the East Lothian Police Facebook page read: "We're appealing for information regarding the theft of plant machinery from a site near Drem, East Lothian.

"Between 20th December 2019 and 15th January 2020, a hydraulic muncher and hydraulic grabber, similar to the images shown below, have been stolen from a site near to Drem railway station.

"If anyone saw anything suspicious around the festive period or they have any information about the incident to contact Police on 101 quoting incident number 1024 of 15/01/2020."
