‘Jealous’ man smashed car

A JEALOUS boyfriend smashed the windows of his partner’s car in a drunken rage because he thought she was cheating on him.

Eric Fiddler also broke his girlfriend’s patio door and threw her belongings into the street.

Livingston Sheriff Court was told yesterday that the Rover 620 had to be written off after he smashed all the windows with a vacuum cleaner.

Fiddler, of Livingston, was fined £135 and ordered to pay £500 compensation.
