Police in Edinburgh have issued a message to reassure the public that nobody was hurt after a video of a man ‘acting aggressively’ while in possession of a knife was circulated on social media.

Officers said that they were aware the footage from Lochend Park was circulating on social media on Monday but that Edinburgh residents and others who saw it should feel reassured that nobody was injured as a result.
They are now following a positive line of enquiry in relation to the incident.
