Lochend Road: Two men in hospital with serious injuries and two arrested after police attend disturbance at Edinburgh flat

Two men have been taken to hospital with serious injuries and two more have been arrested after a disturbance in a Leith flat.

Emergency services were called to the scene at 10.20pm on Thursday, June 17 after receiving reports of a disturbance.

Two men, 51 and 46, have been taken to hospital with serious injuries, and officers have now arrested two other men, 54 and 53, in connection with the incident.

Police remained on the scene through out the night and have said that enquiries are ongoing.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "We were made aware of two men being injured following a disturbance at a flat on Lochend Road South in Edinburgh shortly after 10.20pm on Thursday, 17 June.”

"The men, aged 51 and 46, were taken to the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh for treatment to serious injuries.

"Two men, 54 and 53, have been arrested in connection with the incident and enquiries are ongoing."
