Man, 19, hospitalised after falling from window in Edinburgh street

A 19-year-old man has been hospitalised after falling from a window in an Edinburgh street.

A police spokesperson said: "Around 12.40pm on Sunday, 14 February, we received a report of a 19-year-old man having fallen from a window on South Oxford Street.

“The man has been taken to the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh.

“Enquiries into the incident are ongoing however there are not believed to be any suspicious circumstances."

One passer-by said the street was cordoned off, with two police cars and a police van at the scene.
