Man, 23, charged after vulnerable pensioners mugged in West Lothian

A 23-year-old man has been charged in connection with three separate alleged robberies and an attempted robbery in the Armadale and Livingston areas.

Police said the man is expected to be appear at Livingston Sheriff Court on Wednesday, December 4th.

The incidents took place between Saturday, November 9th and Tuesday, December 3rd.

Detective Sergeant Douglas Gilmour, from Livingston Police Station, said: “I would like to thank members of the public from Armadale and Livingston for their assistance throughout these enquiries, which have been all the more pressing given that two of the victims were vulnerable elderly women.
