Man, 58, found dead at Salisbury Crags

A police spokesperson confirmed a member of the public alerted emergency services to the body at around 1:20pm on Thursday.
Police said a post mortem examination will be carried out to establish the cause of death but there are not believed to be any supicious circumstances.

Hide AdPictures shared on social media showed a number of police cars and ambulances close to the Holyrood car park by Queen's Drive.
A police spokesperson said: "Around 1.20pm on Thursday, 27 August, 2020, police were called after the body of a 58-year-old man was discovered on Salisbury Crags, Queen's Drive, Edinburgh.
"A post mortem examination will be carried out in due course to establish the exact cause of death, however there are not believed to be any suspicious circumstances at this time.
"A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal."
