Man arrested and charged after fire damaging £250,000 of equipment in Longniddry

A man has been arrested and charged with wilful fireraising in East Lothian after a barn fire damaged £250,000 worth of equipment.
The barn, at Setonhill Farm in Longniddry was set on fire around 5 pm on Tuesday, July 28.

Hide AdIt contained a tractor and other agricultural equipment along with 100 tonnes of straw bales.
The fire also damaged the structure itself.
It was extinguished by the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service who reported that nobody was injured in the incident.
A 35-year-old man has been arrested and charged and will appear at Edinburgh Sheriff Court on Friday, July 31.
