Man arrested and charged following alleged East Lothian hot tub theft

A man has been arrested and charged after several hot tubs were allegedly stolen from premises in East Lothian.

The incident happened at a business in Macmerry on 11 December last year.

A police spokesman said: “Following further enquiries into the theft of hot tubs from a business premises in Macmerry, East Lothian on Fri, 11 December, 2020, a 28-year-old man has been arrested and charged.

“A 31-year-old man already appeared at Edinburgh Sheriff Court on Mon, 14 December, in connection with the thefts.”
