Man arrested over Scott Monument incident
Police in Edinburgh arrested and charged a 33-year-old man after officers responded to an incident at the Walter Scott Monument on Tuesday 5th June.
The man was due to appear at Edinburgh Sheriff Court today, Thursday June 7.
Police had been called to the monument on Tuesday after a man was reportedly sitting at the top, but officers safely resolved the incident.
