Man charged after serious assault in Duddingston

Police in Edinburgh have arrested and a charged a 24-year-old man in connection with a serious assault that occurred in the south of the city.

The incident took place on Tuesday 28th February 2017 in Duddingston Park South.

A 32-year-old man sustained serious facial injuries which required medical treatment.

Detectives within the Edinburgh Violence Reduction Unit have thanked the public for their assistance with the investigation.
