Man charged for Eskbank thefts

Officers attended in the Eskbank area of Dalkeith on Monday, April 26 in relation to calls relating to theft and suspicious men in gardens overnight.

After carrying out enquiries, officers arrested and charged a 20 year old man in relation to thefts and being within the vacinity of properties with the intention of stealing.

He has been released on an undertaking to appear at Edinburgh Sheriff Court at a later date and is also subject to special bail conditions.

Officers would like to remind members of the community to be vigilant and ensure that they secure their homes and belongings.
